ReplyQuick is a simple Chrome extension that helps business owners respond to Google reviews using AI. We believe in keeping things simple and transparent, which extends to how we handle your data.

This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

What Data We Collect

ReplyQuick collects minimal data to provide its core functionality:

• Review Text: When you click "AI Reply," we temporarily process the review text to generate a response. This text is sent to our servers and immediately forwarded to OpenAI for processing.
• Usage Count: We track how many AI replies you've used to enforce free tier limits (5 per month). This is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's sync storage.
• Extension Settings: Your tone preferences and other settings are stored locally in your browser.

We do NOT collect: Your Google account information, customer data, business details, or any personally identifiable information about you or your customers.

How We Use Your Data

The data we collect has a single purpose: generating AI-powered review responses.

• Review Processing: Review text is processed solely to generate contextually appropriate replies
• Usage Tracking: Usage counts ensure fair access to free tier features
• Settings Storage: Your preferences are saved to provide a consistent experience

Third-Party Services

ReplyQuick uses the following third-party service:

We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising platforms.

Data Retention

ReplyQuick follows a strict no-storage policy:

• Review Text: Processed and immediately discarded. We never store review content.
• Generated Replies: Not stored on our servers after delivery to your browser.
• Local Storage: Usage counts and settings remain in your browser until you uninstall the extension or clear Chrome data.

There are no databases, no user accounts, and no long-term data storage.

Chrome Storage

ReplyQuick uses Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.sync) to store:

• Monthly usage count (resets automatically)
• Your preferred reply tone (Friendly, Professional, etc.)
• Extension settings and preferences

This data syncs across your Chrome browsers if you're signed into Chrome, but remains private to you.

No Analytics or Tracking

ReplyQuick does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or analytics services. We don't track your browsing behavior, collect personal information, or build user profiles.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Request information about data we process (though we store none)
• Deletion: Request deletion of any data (uninstall the extension to remove all local data)
• Portability: Export your settings (stored locally in your browser)
• Opt-out: Stop using the extension at any time

Since we don't store personal data, most requests can be fulfilled by uninstalling the extension or clearing your Chrome data.

Data Security

All communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Review text is processed through secure channels and immediately discarded after generating a response.

Since we don't store sensitive data, there's no risk of data breaches exposing your review content or customer information.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify users through the extension if the changes are significant.

Continued use of ReplyQuick after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
